    Hydrant Valve

    SHIELD Hydrant Valves/Landing Valve is used to control the water flow for the fire fighting purposes. The Hydrant Valves are designed with standard connections at inlets & outlets. The Hydrant Valves can be installed either as “Attack Hydrants” that are used to fight the fire directly or as “Feed Hydrants” supplying water that is pumped back into the fire service through the booster heads. The outlet connections are Australian State specific and comply to the Australian Standards.

    • Oblique type
    • Right angle type

    Technical Specifications

    • Working pressure: 1400kpa.
    • Temperature rating: -10°C ~ 85°C
    • Body test: Subject the valve to a test pressure of 2700kpa for 1min., there shall be no leakage.
    • Seat test: Subject the seat to a test pressure of 2700 kpa for 1min., the valve seat shall be drip-tight.
    • Painting: Red painted
    • Standard Compliance to AS 2419.2
    • Bronze body
